2) Education in Pakistan, is divided into five levels: primary (grades one through five); middle (grades six through eight); high (grades nine and ten, leading to the Secondary School Certificate); intermediate (grades eleven and twelve, leading to a Higher Secondary School Certificate); and university programs leading to graduate and advanced degrees.

Pakistan has both public and private educational institutions from primary to university level. Most educational institutions are gender based from primary to university level.

Food streets, and food parks, exist in several metropolitan cities in the country, and attending them has become a social norm, with people using them as both formal and informal meeting areas.

The first food street in Pakistan was Food Street, Gawalmandi in Lahore. This has been followed by Melody Food Street and the food street in Blue Area in Islamabad, Burns Road in Karachi, the food street near Ghantar Ghar in Peshawar, and a second food street in Lahore at Anarkali.
